Easter Holidays on Islay
Easter holidays on Islay are a truly special time, as the fields around the farm burst into new life. Spring marks the start of lambing season, when daily lambing rounds begin. The famous “lambulance” (also known as the quad bike) can often be seen racing across the fields, with the Happy Farmer at the helm and any available members of the lambing crew close behind.
It’s a busy, exciting, and heart-warming time to experience farm life on the island.

Spring Comes Alive on Islay
Easter on Islay is when the island begins to glow with colour. Golden whin bushes bloom, and daffodils dance in the brighter, longer days. While the air can still be crisp and fresh, the sight of turquoise seas and white sandy beaches makes Islay a magical place to escape to.

With a seemingly limitless supply of fresh island air, soft white clouds drift across vibrant blue skies. It’s the perfect moment to slow down, breathe deeply, and soak up the energy of island life in spring, as nature awakens in the sunshine.
