Come and explore our Islay Pottery and Arts Studio at Persabus! We’re open:

Tuesday to Friday: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

We offer pottery painting workshops for all ages.

November – March: Book a session anytime!
April – October: During the season we do not take bookings unless you are coming as a large group or party. Simply pop along and we will do our best to accommodate you!
Bookings are available for larger groups or private parties, usually outside our standard studio hours.

At Persabus Pottery & Art Studio, we offer a variety of creative experiences for visitors of all ages:

Pottery Painting – In-Studio or Takeaway Kits

Choose to enjoy our in-house pottery painting workshops in the studio or take home a ‘takeaway’ pottery kit.
Our workshops guide you step-by-step as you translate your own holiday memories onto pottery.
Once your artwork is complete, we glaze and fire it, creating a unique, lasting souvenir of your time on Islay.

Mixed Media Creative Workshops

Explore your creativity through our mixed media workshops, combining art, mindfulness, and relaxation.
Popular workshops include “How Do You See the Sea?” and “How Do You See the Seasons?”, available at scheduled times or as private bookings.
These workshops are designed to help you discover and grow your unique creative style in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Freestyle Art

Prefer to go your own way? Enjoy freestyle creativity with all the materials you need: charcoal, pastels, watercolours, and acrylic paints.

Pottery Painting and Art Experiences for all Ages

Pop along to our pottery studio at Persabus and browse our unique range of pottery gifts and art, available from the studio and in our online shop. Or enjoy a carefully curated art experience.

Fancy giving pottery painting a go? Feeling creative? We offer the option of pottery painting takeaway boxes, or you can book our new creative studio for your party. Pop along and choose from a variety of unglazed bisque shapes, and paints.

For ‘pottery takeaways’ everything is popped into a box along with brushes, sponges and instructions. Drop the box back a day or so later and pieces will be glazed and fired for you. Or why not book our new Creative Studio space and enjoy a fun filled session of pottery painting at Persabus? Translate your holiday experiences and adventures onto pottery creating a lasting souvenir, or gifts to take home.

Bring your finished pieces to the pottery where we will glaze and fire the pieces for you, ready for collection a day or so later, or we can post it out to your home address

Or book a mixed media art course and enjoy the process of experimenting with pastels, charcoal, acryllic and watercolour, as Rosemary guides you through sketching and painting adventures.
