Please contact us within 14 working days if you have received damaged or incorrect items in your order and we will do our best to resolve the situation as soon as possible. We will ask customers to provide a photograph of the damaged items to allow us to follow up with our couriers regarding your order. You may also be required to return your order.
Do inspect the ceramics when you receive your order and check that you are happy with everything. We will take it that you have accepted the order unless you notify us upon receipt that there is a problem. If you fail to notify us upon receipt of any problems or concerns, we are not obligated to accept any rejection by you of the goods at a later date.
Each item has been carefully hand-painted, glazed and fired for you in the kiln on our farm. Pieces have been glazed and fired to a high temperature.
Our ceramics are food safe.
Avoid sudden temperature changes when using your pieces. With lots of use over time ceramics can develop hairline cracks and scratches, known as crazing. This is normal.
We do not recommend using the ceramics in a microwave.
We do not recommend using ceramics in the dishwasher. The high temperatures of a dishwasher combined with detergents, can, over time, cause the glaze to lose its gloss, becoming dull. Damage can also happen easily in the dishwasher. We recommend you hand wash pieces.
There is no warranty on Persabus Pottery.

Find Out MoreThere is so much to see and do on the beautiful island of Islay and we have a section to help you decide what to do when you visit here.
Find Out MoreGreat hosts and great views nearby! As a lone traveler and someone who had taken up a last minute trip to Islay, the hosts – Donald and Rosemary Fletcher were a delightful company. They made me feel at home and even provided detailed information to visit nearby attractions including a map. Since I was keen to visit the Finlaggen ruins, and it was almost getting dark, Donald was kind enough to give me a lift one way to the historical site and also made sure that I had a torch light with me on my way back. We had a great Indian dinner with Donald and Rosemary always ready to entertain with the stories on the farm and beyond. Even though I was staying over for just a night, I was touched by the hospitality of the Fletchers. I would highly recommend anyone wishing to have a terrific islander experience to go have a stay at the Persabus farm! It is located a wee walk from the Port Askaig and located a few minutes’ walk from the Finlaggen ruins as well. Rosemary also runs a pottery craft workshop with fabulous art works too. Moreover, if you are just looking for a good humored stay, you won’t be disappointed either.
