Additionally, you can get involved in your own pottery experience by taking part in a workshop or enjoy a’ pottery takeaway’ box! Boxes are filled with paints, brushes and sponges too allowing you to enjoy painting activities on the hills, at the beach, or in your accommodation.

The RSPB Reserve has various habitats. These include mudflats, saltmarsh, wet grassland, moorland, blanket bog and broadleaved woodland. These habitats encourage and support a huge variety of birdlife and wildlife. Enjoy watching a variety of birds from the hide or go on one of the guided walks at the RSPB Nature Reserve at Loch Gruinart.

He showed us to our room, which was spotless then informed us of various places of interest could be found. Had a great two day stay and with Don’s help, experienced the best of Islay. Breakfast was outstanding each morning with Rosemary doing the cooking and Don filling us in on other things to see… what a neat couple. Guys, hope you received the key we forgot to leave, we mailed it as soon as we could. We thoroughly recommend a stay here, you cannot ask for better care or experience.
